There are four ways you can order products from us. The easiest is online, using this web site. It is safe, secure and easy. However, we do understand that some customers prefer not to use their credit cards online, and prefer an alternate way of placing an order. In addition to online ordering, we accept orders by telephone (01292 264196) and by post (see our address on this page). To help you place your order, all products have a unique product code which is displayed on this web site whenever you view a product. If you use our printed form, it will help you ensure you include all the information we need - even if you are ordering by telephone. Below you will find information about:
Minimum Order: We have a minimum order size of £5.00 for all mail orders - online, by post or by mail. If the value of goods in your order is less than £5.00 then you will see a surcharge to make up the difference. This will go away once your goods total is at least £5.00. Class Bookings Payment in full is required in advance - no later than 10 days before the class. You can book online and pay either online or by post. Should the unforeseen occur and you need to cancel your place, 10 working days notice will be required in order to have a refund. Less than 10 days notice and the full amount becomes due, unless you can find someone to attend in your place! Security: We understand that security is often a major concern for any customer shopping online. Once you have chosen products from our catalogue, and you are ready to pay for your purchases, you can choose to place your order by post, telephone or online. If you choose the online option, you will be taken to a secure part of our website which uses a technology called SSL. This will be indicated by the appearance of a padlock in Microsoft Internet Explorer, a key and/or padlock in Netscape Navigator or some equivalent which indicates that you are connected to a secure server and all information will be encrypted as it is sent to us. If you are unsure about this process, or would prefer not to give your credit card details over the Internet, then please feel free to use an alternative. The order process will give you an opportunity to print the order form before you give any payment details so that you can send your order by post. Alternatively you can call us and place your order by telephone. Order Processing: We only process your credit card when we ship the products you have ordered. If we are waiting for stock for some items, we will contact you and offer you two options - either wait for the order to be completed and shipped together, or have the order shipped in two or more deliveries. If there are any problems with your order we will contact you - using email if you provide an address, telephone or post otherwise. Privacy: To place an order with us, or receive our newsletter, we take your details. We will not give or sell these details to any third party. We will only use these details to send you our newsletter which is never more than 4 times per year, or occasional updates about new products or special offers. At any time, you can request that you be removed from our mailing list, request a copy of the information we keep, or change the information. Cookies are much maligned, and sometimes abused tools of the trade on the web. We use cookies to remember you when you visit our site again after registering with us. We will greet you by name, and if you order items, remember your name and address. We do not store any credit card information in cookies. We do keep track of which pages our users access - this helps us understand which products are popular - and which are not! This information is used solely by us, we do not use or condone covert advert tracking. Delivery: We use the Royal Mail to deliver all our packages. Our normal standard is to send First Class. If you require insured or guaranteed delivery, please contact us by e-mail or telephone or include special shipping instructions if your order is posted. If there is a change in delivery cost we will contact you with the revised price and seek your permission to proceed. Delivery Times and Costs: Provided the products you order are in stock, we will normally ship the products to you within 2 working days, and often the same working day if the order is received by 3PM. Sometimes we are attending shows or events which means that we will not be able to ship for a few days. If there is any delay - which will generally be because we are out of stock - we will contact you and ask for instructions. We try and keep stock of all products on this web site. We do however attend at least 6 major shows in a year, and many smaller ones. This can mean we run out of items quickly. As many products are shipped from America, there can be delays in re-stocking which are beyond our control. We will do our very best to inform you of any product delays. Orders within the UK: If we ship part orders we will not charge additional shipping costs for the follow on parts. Because we ship Royal Mail First Class, you can generally expect to receive your products the day after we ship them - although those of you living in more remote parts of the UK will already know how long First Class post takes. Postage and packing charges are as follows:
Orders outside the UK: Orders are sent using Royal Mail International Post. If you would prefer an alternative method, such as courier, please contact us or specify on your order - we will charge postage at cost for your order. We cannot say how long delivery will take, because this varies widely by country. Postage and packing charges are as follows:
Returns: You may return any products which are defective, or damaged and request either a replacement or a refund provided the products are unused. We will refund your postage for returning defective goods. Prices: All prices on this web site are valid on the day they are viewed. We generally do not alter our prices, except to reduce them for end of season products. If we do change a price on a product you have ordered before your order is received (for example where you print an order form and post it), we will refund any decrease in price immediately, and not apply any increase unless the time taken between printing your order and receiving it is greater than 14 days. Errors & omissions excepted (This means that if we make a silly mistake, or leave out a price, we don't think it is reasonable to be forced to apply the price). Right to Cancel: For orders placed online, you have the right to cancel the order within 7 days of placing it for any reason. If you have received the goods, they must be returned unopened. Complaints: We hope that we do not give you a reason to complain, but understand that it can happen. If you do wish to complain, please contact us using the information on the About Us page. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions - this means that all rights you have in law when you are dealing with traders such as ourselves are not changed, diminished or otherwise affected by the terms and conditions above.
