October 2004

Hello everyone!

Happy Autumn, and isn't it rushing by? I'm off to Glasgow for the first time this week to have a stand at the Glasgow Hobbycrafts (SECC), so if you live nearby, do come and see what lovely new things I've got in!

There are some great new Christmas stencils which only arrived yesterday and so there won't be time to get them up on the site before I leave, sorry. I have, though, managed to write a description of them, along with some great new little metal word charms to embellish your cards with (look under Senti-Metals on the Embellishments page of the website)

I also have some new idea books which provide that much needed inspiration when you're facing a blank card! There are many to choose from, and I'll
get them on the site after the show.

Look out for us in Crafts Beautiful Magazine, Nov issue, where we've got a QuickMake project using the darling little reindeer and sleigh stencils. It's so easy it would make a good older child card project. (age of child depends on how neat you wanted it to look!)

I've also managed to secure the very very last of the little button cutter sets, the ones used to make cinnamon buttons, or Fimo or Sculpey. I'm afraid they're discontinued now, so I bought the last remaining ones, only available in Star and Flower shapes. They are at a slightly reduced price to previous, so if you've been thinking about buying a set, I'd do so now, before they all go! If you order it online, my husband will check the site while I'm away and tell me so I can put it aside for you - providing they haven't all gone!!

For those of you who sew, I've got some really sweet folk-art patterns from Country Stitches, who brought you Freezin'Frosty. There are 2 different Santas and 2 different stitcheries. Sorry, they just arrived this morning, so no time to get their photos up either!

If you don't live in Scotland, but want to see our stand, come to the fabulous Hobbycrafts and Crafts for Christmas show at the NEC in November (11-14th). We look forward to seeing you, wherever you are!

Take care and happy crafting,
Lynn
